Louis CHACCALIS "Anamorphose: la danse de l'aigle" (1989) Mixed media: (papier-mâché, wood, paint, pigments). Dimensions: 200 x 170 x 50 cm. Bibliography: reproduced in color on page 53 of the catalog for the "Chacallis" exhibition at the Château Musée de Cagnes sur Mer from 03/25 to 05/8/2000. Henry Martin wrote in the catalog of the exhibition at the Musée de Toulon from 12/14/90 to 03/30/91 about anamorphoses: "(the image) exists only as a continuum of an experience which in fact takes place in both space and time. We walk in the space that surrounds these paintings, and time passes as we do."
